Bessey high-performance U-clamp STBU40-17-15 – 400/175 mm with up to 22,000 N

The Bessey high-performance U-clamp STBU40-17-15 is specially designed for overlapping clamping of T- and double-T-profiles from both sides. With a clamping force of up to 22,000 N at a tightening torque of 80 Nm, it masters the toughest tasks in steel construction and welding. The U-shaped fixed jaw is made from a single piece, tempered and torsion-resistant – guaranteeing maximum breaking strength and highest stability.

The U-shaped fixed jaw made from a single piece guarantees maximum breaking strength. With 22,000 N clamping force and a 19 mm hexagon at the spindle end for machine tightening, the STBU40-17-15 masters the toughest tasks. The forged sliding jaw made of tempered steel withstands even the greatest loads.

Overlapping clamping from both sides

Specifically designed for T- and double-T-profiles. With a throat depth of 140 mm for the fixed jaw and 170 mm for the sliding jaw, it offers optimal adaptation to different profile sizes. The heat-resistant special pressure plate with sintered steel insert is swivelling up to 35° and offers an extremely long service life.
