The Bessey High-Performance Clamp SGM SG40M is the high-performance clamp for the most demanding requirements in metal construction and locksmith work. With 20% more clamping force per spindle rotation due to an optimized rail profile, it achieves a clamping force of up to 12,000 N at a tightening torque of 40 Nm. The forged U-shaped sliding arm guarantees maximum stability through linear power transmission. With a clamping width of 400 mm, it is ideal for larger workpieces.

The optimized profile shape guarantees you a higher clamping force build-up in a shorter time with greater stability and safety. The one-piece forged fixed jaw with integrated pressure plate is tempered and galvanized, making it highly resilient and torsion-resistant.

Forged U-shaped sliding arm

The U-shaped sliding arm made of forged tempered steel guarantees maximum safety through linear power transmission and withstands even the highest loads. You can always rely on it.

Heat-resistant special pressure plate

The heat-resistant special pressure plate can be swiveled by up to 35° and replaced. It has an extremely long service life due to excellent sliding and emergency running properties of the hardened and oil-impregnated sintered steel insert.
